BACKGROUND

RC Cola, also known as Royal Crown Cola, is a world-wide beverage company known for its cola-flavored soft drink, developed in 1905.

CHALLENGE

Our challenge for Anuga 2015 was to present RC Cola as one of the major players in the beverage market—as a strong umbrella brand—and enhance their presence using their vintage 1950s Americana theme.

OUTCOME

We created an eye-catching booth design with an American drive-in façade. A long LED panel with unique animations hung above a classic curved roof canopy, featuring embedded LED light strips, mimicking the iconic drive-in signs of the 1950s Americana era. Beneath this, we incorporated a large branded light-box—reminiscent of wide drive-in glass windows, reflecting the inner diner—which formed the back wall to the main (front) booth area. We made sure the booth was very bright and graphic-heavy, with striking pop-art imagery to give RC Cola the prominence they were seeking. Delegates were invited to step into the faux diner, sample some RC Cola and fantastically immerse in their surroundings to get “a taste of the American dream.”
